Ok, I'm on page 19 of a 66 page dissertation proposal and the meeting is at 1. It is now 12:30 and I'm writing a blog entry instead. I wonder if I can just skim ahead to the good parts (I fear there are none) and not look like I haven't read it all. I know that's a disservice to this gal, but I'm just filling in for someone at the last minute and to be honest, I can think of a million other things I could be doing. Unfortunately, I'm only driven by guilt when the work is self-relevant. Is that bad?
EDITED TO ADD: I was wrong. The proposal only goes to page 31. The rest was a damn appendix, a 30 page appendix no less. Good thing I skimmed.
